Jeff Carlson, Ph.D. doing business as

Jeff's Responsibility:

bl_pin.gif (1016 bytes) Hardware
The ProEngineer training room should contain your choice of either a workstation for each student, or pair of students.  An instructor workstation is unnecessary.
Jeff will bring his Pro/E laptop to every instructional program.
bl_pin.gif (1016 bytes) Software
Each ProEngineer workstation should have a licensed version of Pro/E.  The software must be loaded and tested before each instructional program.
Jeff's laptop has Pro/E and all other necessary software.

A representative will need to meet with Dr. Carlson thirty minutes in advance to load training files.  In most cases, a CD is sent in advance.  Each workstation will need a copy of every file.
Jeff will bring a training manual for each student.  He will also bring a CD containing part, drawing, and assembly files.   Training manuals are not shipped in advance.
bl_pin.gif (1016 bytes) Overhead Projection
A projection screen or light colored surface is needed to project live software demonstrations onto the wall.  Direct sunlight must be controlled.
Jeff will bring an overhead projection unit to every training program.  His preferred method of instruction involves frequent live solid modeling demonstrations.

The ProE training room might contain a dry-erase white board or large notepad.  A white board is not required.
